CLAIR Sealed and separate bids will be received by the Township of Upper St. Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania until 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 for the following: 2014 ANNUAL CRACK SEALING CONTRACT 50,000 LF of Crack Sealing on various streets throughout the Township 2014 ANNUAL STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM Item 1 - 48,470 sy Milling 1"- 4" Depth; Item 2 - 44,052 sy Superpave Binder 2" Depth; Item 3 - 48,470 sy Superpave Wearing 1 ½" Depth; Item 4 - 19 ea. Modify Existing Inlets; Item 5 - 500 sy 8" Base Repairs; Item 6 - 1500 sy 4" Base Repairs; Item 7 - 3800 lf 6" Special Underdrain; Item 8 - 36,910 lf Asphalt Wedge Curb; Item 9 - 50 ton Levelling Wearing; Item 10 - 50 ton Driveway Transitions; Item 11 - 38 ea New Storm Inlets; Item 12 - 100 sy Paving Fabric; Item 13 - 25 ea. Adjust Manholes; Item 14 - 25 ea. Adjust Storm Inlets; Item 15 - 50 cy Excavation; Item 16 - 100 sy 10" AASHTO #1; Item 17 - 100 sy Concrete Driveways; Item 18 - 3333 sy Colorcoating Sports Courts; Item 19 - 84 ea. Downspout Connections; Item 20 - 1 LS Linestriping Bids must be sealed and addressed to Matthew R. Serakowski, Township Manager, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 and must indicate on the outside of the envelope the type of bid being submitted. Bids must be received at the Township Office prior to the time noted. In accordance with Chapter 25 of the Township Code, all bidders must be pre-qualified by the Township. Contract documents and specifications (on CD) for the Annual Street Resurfacing Program are available at the Public Works Building at 1751 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 for $100.00 each. Please call 412.831.9000 Ext. 271 in advance of pickup. Contracts are subject to prevailing wage requirements. No refund for returned documents. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Township of Upper St. Clair. Crack Sealing specifications are available at the Public Works Building at no charge. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicality or formality therein.
