OFFICIAL BID NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER ST. CLAIR Sealed and separate bids will be received by the Township of Upper St. Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania until 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014: RENOVATIONS OF THE UPPER ST. CLAIR MUNICIPAL BUILDING - SECURITY WORK The Township of Upper St.Clair, PA will receive Contractor Qualifications Statements for review and consideration on inclusion on Bid List for the USC Municipal Building Renovations - Security Work, located in the Township of Upper St.Clair at 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St.Clair, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania 15241. BIDS must be sealed and addressed to Matthew R. Serakowski, Township Manager, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St.Clair, PA 15241, and must indicate on the outside of the envelope the type of BID being submitted. BIDS must be received at the Township office prior to the time noted. In accordance with Chapter 25 of the Code of the Township, all Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Township. Contractor Qualification Statements must be submitted NO LATER THAN 4:00pm (EST), Friday, August 1, 2014 to the Administration Office of the Township of Upper St.Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St.Clair 15241. Qualification Statements will be reviewed by the Owner and Architect. Upon satisfaction of each Contractor's Qualifications by the Owner and Architect, Bidder will be notified and bidding documents will be made available to each Qualified Contractor for bidding purposes. Project bids shall be due by 9:00am (EST), Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Only Contractors that have provided acceptable Qualification Statements (as determined by the Owner) by the date indicated will receive bidding documents or be eligible to bid the project. Owner reserves the right to waive all irregularities. A Single-Prime project delivery method will be utilized. Bids will be required on a stipulated sum basis for the following Prime Contract: Contract-1: Security Work Installation: (Includes wiring and installation of equipment provided by the Owner) A Performance, Labor and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the proposed contract value will be required for the successful bidder. A Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Determination will be in effect and bound within the Project Manual supplied to qualified bidders.
