Notice is hereby given the Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Department of State of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on January 18, 2008 with respect to a proposed nonprofit corporation, The S. Kent Rockwell Foundation, Inc., which name was subsequently amended to be the S. Kent Rockwell Foundation, which has been incorporated under the provisions of the Nonprofit Corporation Law of 1988. A brief summary of the purpose or purposes for which said corporation is organized is: charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, including but not limited to: (1) the making of distributions to public charities that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, including, but not limited to wildlife organizations such as Ducks Unlimited and Trout Unlimited, and public charities established for the prevention and/or treatment of alcohol and/or addiction problems; (2) the ownership of real property in Somerset County, Pennsylvania for the preservation of wildlife, fish, plants, trees and the habitat on which they survive and making such real property accessible to disabled persons for their enjoyment of nature; (3) the encouragement and funding of entrepreneurial education programs at colleges and universities and scholarships pertaining thereto; and (4) for such other purposes as permitted under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, and the regulations thereunder.
