BOROUGH OF MILLVALE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING INTENT TO ADOPT THE BOROUGH OF MILLVALE COUNCIL WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2014, AND CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING THE BOROUGH OF MILLVALE FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE OF 1996 (ORD. NO. 2035), AT A MEETING THAT SAME NIGHT AT 7:00 P.M. TO BE HELD AT THE MILLVALE BOROUGH BUILDING, 501 LINCOLN AVE, MILLVALE, PA, 15209. FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF MILLVALE, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA REPEALING AND REPLACING ORDINANCE NO. 2035 - FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE OF 1996, Adopting Regulations to comply with the Pennsylvania Flood Plain Management Act of 1978; to promote public health, safety and the general welfare of its citizenry; requires all persons and entities to obtain a permit for any construction or development in the Borough of Millvale; Sets forth minimum requirements for new construction and development for areas of the Borough that are located within areas which are subject to flooding; Establishes penalties for persons and entities which fail and refuse to comply with the terms and requirements of the Floodplain Management Ordinance.
