Notice -Allegheny County Airport Authority - CONSOL Energy - Environmental Assessment for Oil and Gas Development at Pittsburgh International Airport Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) and CONSOL Energy are in the final stages of conducting an environmental assessment for proposed Oil & Gas development at Pittsburgh International Airport operated by ACAA. The development project entails well site, impoundment and pipeline construction, drilling and hydraulic fracturing operations on multiple well sites on airport property and pipeline construction off airport property. As part of ACAA and CONSOL Energy's continued public outreach for this project, the public is invited to a final Public Workshop. During this interactive session, draft environmental findings from the Environmental Assessment will be presented. Attendees will also be able to provide specific comments and questions as part of the public comment period; responses will be included in the final Environmental Assessment document. Date: Tuesday, December 17, 2013 Time: 4:30 - 6:30 PM Location: Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, 777 Aten Road, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108 The environmental assessment document will be available for public review in first quarter 2014. Pursuant to Federal Aviation Administration National Environmental Policy Act regulations and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, notice associated with public outreach is required. In addition to the Public Workshop, a public question/comment form is available at www.FlyPittsburgh.com/energy.
