The purpose of this condemnation is to effectuate the public purpose of the redevelopment of blighted properties in the Township of South Park. 5. The nature of the title acquired hereby is the absolute fee simple title whether fee simple or lesser estates, together with all easements, rights of way and real property interests of whatever nature. 6. These properties have been condemned in their entirety as of the dates set forth in Paragraph 1 above. 7. A plan showing the condemned properties may be inspected at the offices of the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County, One Chatham Center, Suite 900, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. 8. Just compensation has been secured by the bond of the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County, filed with each Declaration of Taking. 9. INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) FOR THE 2019 GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE SERVICES PWSA PROJECT NO. 2019-GI-105-0 Work under this contract includes green infrastructure (GI) maintenance services at various sites located throughout PWSA's service area as required or directed. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the solicitation that can be obtained by sending an e-mail to procurement@pgh2o.com. There will be no charge for the solicitation, as it will be sent via e-mail. All questions relating to the solicitation itself shall be to Nicole Dickun, Procurement Manager, via e-mail: ndickun@pgh2o.com, no later than April 17, 2019. A pre-bid will not be held for this contract. No bonds are required. The Contractor must assure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sexual preference, sex, or national origin. The bidders will be required to submit the package of certifications included with the contract documents relating to Equal Employment Opportunity. The Authority reserves the right to withhold the award of the Contract for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids. Safety Inspection of Locally-Owned Bridges SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been retained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform safety inspections of approximately nine locally-owned bridges in Armstrong County. The work is anticipated to begin on April 22, 2019, and to be performed through June 2020. SAI requires the services of a qualified Contractor to provide access equipment, equipment operators, safety equipment, and maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT). MPT must be provided in strict accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. SAI will receive sealed Bids from qualified Contractors until 11:00 am Prevailing Time on April 10, 2019, at 1350 Penn Avenue, Suite 300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-4211. Bids will be opened on the due date at 11:00 am. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Questions should be directed to Eric Liebmann, PE, at 412.392.8750. Bid documents can be secured in person at the above address between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on weekdays beginning April 2, 2019.
