ALLEGHENY County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Allegheny County Courthouse Gold Room, located on the 4th Floor of 436 Grant Street in Pittsburgh, PA. The primary purpose of this hearing is to allow the opportunity for public comment regarding violence in Allegheny County, how the County is currently responding to community violence, as well as a discussion of possible additional remedies which could be realized through the funding of new County programs. Individuals wishing to speak must register in advance by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, in accordance with the rules governing public comment at Council meetings. (TSDD) has been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform bridge inspections of four (4) State Bridges located in Beaver and Allegheny County. TSDD will accept bid package requests for the following services: A total of ten (10) bridge inspections are to be conducted from June 2015 through August 2019. PennDOT approved contractors must provide hands-on bridge inspection access equipment to certified bridge inspectors (combination of an Under Bridge Inspection Crane with 60' Reach and Bridge Inspection Bucket Trucks with 35' Reach), and perform Maintenance and Protection of Traffic.
