Each Contract is a separate set. These Contracts are subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with the West View Water Authority. The Authority also retains the right to investigate the qualifications of bidders prior to contract award and to award contracts only to contractors who, in the sole judgment of the West View Water Authority, are qualified and equipped to properly complete the work. NOTICE TO BIDDERS THE WOODLANDS FOUNDATION: WEXFORD, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Sealed Proposals will be received by the Gateway Engineers at 100 McMorris Road, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 15205-9401 until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on May 10, 2017 for: PHASE 1: MASTER FACILITY PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT Base Bid: This project is for the construction of a parking lot, access road, stormwater management basin and associated work including, but not limited to, site clearing and grubbing, unclassified bulk excavation, bituminous paving, installation of electrical conduit and lighting fixtures, installation of storm sewer manholes, inlets, outlet control structures and piping, sanitary sewer encasement, erosion and sedimentation control measures, site restoration, plantings, traffic control and utility coordination. This Project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages shall be paid on this contract. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of The Woodlands Foundation, Inc. in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Bidder is advised that the Owner will award the contract to the lowest responsible pre-qualified bidder based on the total bid submitted. However, the bidder is advised that the Owner expressly reserves the right to reject all bids, and specifically reserves the right to award to the lowest responsible pre-qualified bidder a contract for all or any portions of the work listed in the proposal, and in awarding a contract for less than the total work listed, or less than all portions of the work listed, the contract price will be determined from the total quantities for each item listed and the unit price bid for each item listed.

PUBLIC NOTICE BOROUGH OF FOREST HILLS At its regularly scheduled committee meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Forest Hills Borough Building, 2071 Ardmore Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, the Council of the Borough of Forest Hills will hold a public hearing on and consider an application filed by AHI Development, Inc. and Forest Hills Veteran Housing, L.P. requesting an amendment to the conditional use approval previously granted by Borough Council related to the change in use of a structure on property located at 1844 Ardmore Boulevard in the Borough's S-2 Special District, currently designated as Allegheny County Block/Lot No. 299-P-170, from office/warehouse to mid-rise apartments in order to (i) assign the conditional use approval from AHI Development, Inc. to Forest Hills Veteran Housing, L.P., (ii) amend Condition No. 6 of the Borough Council's decision letter dated February 25, 2016 (the "Council Decision Letter") to extend the deadline for the commencement of construction to May 8, 2018, and (iii) amend Condition No. 3 of the Council Decision Letter to revise the residency and occupancy restrictions on the proposed mid-rise apartments. The application is made pursuant to Section 27-304, Table 27-1, and Part 9 of the Zoning Ordinance. At the conclusion of the public hearing Borough Council may take action on the application. The public is invited to attend and participate in the hearing. A copy of the application is on file at the Forest Hills Borough Building, 2071 Ardmore Boulevard, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15221, and may be examined by members of the public during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday or 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday or 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
