The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, in partnership with the City of Pittsburgh, is accepting bids for the Allegheny Phase III and Fountain Construction project. Sealed bids must be received by September 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM EST at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy office at 45 South 23rd Street, Suite 101, Pittsburgh PA 15203-2120. Bid submissions must be made in accordance with the instructions, terms and conditions described in the Invitation to Bid and the Project Manual. The complete Invitation to Bid is located online at www.pittsburghparks.org/blog/commons-bid - It states additional bid requirements including dates, times and locations for the mandatory pre-bid conference on August 22, 2017, and submission of written questions by August 29; it also includes other pertinent information. It also includes information for obtaining the bid package (Project Manual and Drawings) which will be available August 15, 2017 from Accu-Copy Reprographics. Allegheny County Bidding Requirements: Compliance is required with the Davis-Bacon Act and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 - 1.4); Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT MUNICIPALITY OF PENN HILLS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA The Municipality of Penn Hills is soliciting comments on a Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) for the Allegheny and Ohio Rivers, Thompson Run, and Plum Creek Watersheds. The Penn Hills' Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requires Penn Hills to develop a PRP to discuss methodologies to reduce sediment and phosphorus and make this plan available for public review and comment.
